Project Description
La Figuerola Golf Par 13 course is located close to Hospitalet de lInfant town (Tarragona), 150 km south of Barcelona. The owners of a beautiful hotel and Spa awarded our team with the design and construction supervision of a new 18 hole par 3 course around the hotel site.
The course was set in a 10 hectare plot, in a hilly area, with pine trees and brush bushes typical of the Mediterranean area. Some creeks and the rock walls that defined the terraces for cultivation of the land, together with soft elevation differences, gave us the opportunity to create a nice and challenging course, with almost no earthworks.
It a very well appreciated course, especially between the large quantity of pitch&putt players, as the course has two set of tees for each hole, one of them accomplishing the distance parameters set by ACPP (Catalonia Pitch&Putt Association) and EPPA (European Pitch&Putt Association).
